As UX Manager, I lead the team of designers and researchers that envisioned, produced, tested, launched, and continue to refine Gemini's lauded Data Analysis capability.

Surfacing insights from complex data sets requires not just time but specialized training and expertise as well. How might we democratize access to the insights and understanding embedded in complex data sets?
Solution
Solution
We taught Gemini to use its code-writing capabilities and chain-of-thought reasoning skills to do complex data analysis and create beautiful visuals to convey meaning, and we made sure it can understand non-technical requests from people who aren't professional data analysts.
